Kramer ferrington parts serial number#
Kramer American Models Serial Number Registry - Archive. The Kramer Ferrington guitar line was a collaboration between Danny Ferrington and the Kramer guitar company which started in 1985 and guitars were made from 1986-1990 although I believe based on the serial number this was one of the last guitars made in very early 1991. All Ive been able to determine so far is that: It was manufactured in Japan (probably by ESP Guitars) The serial number plate has a logo circa 1985-86. Kramer Ferrington KFS-2 in ebony finish made in early 1991. Nowadays, Kramer Guitars are owned by Gibson and they have an EVH model (the Kramer 1984) available for purchase. I have a Kramer Focus 3000 with the serial number A28571. And still today, the EVH striped guitar remains as the flagship of the guitars from Neptune, New Jersey.Īlthough there were no striped guitars for sale (Edward would grab some parts from the Charvel factory - mainly the Baretta and Pacer models - and build "his" own guitar), there were a lot of ads in publications with Edward advertising various Kramer guitar models (including the Kramer Ferrington acoustic/electric model), and the Kramer brand itself. This exactly can be prooved by the Los Angeles Hard Rock Cafe's pin of Edward's guitar replica (with the "banana style" head). This connection between Edward Van Halen and Dennis Berardi's brand will always be remembered as it was with Kramer guitars that the "red, black & white" striped model become famous. I myself own a Kramer Ferrington from 1986.
